DR. TAMIRA L. FLEMING, EdD


Dr. Tamira L. Fleming is a dedicated educational leader with a passion for personalized learning, STEM education, and advocacy for neurodiverse learners. With over two decades of experience in education, she has served as a teacher, consultant, and nonprofit executive, working to create innovative learning opportunities for students of all backgrounds.

As the Founder and Executive Director of STEM Connextion, Dr. Fleming has developed instructional programs that support college and career readiness, including ACT/SAT prep, STEM enrichment, and services for students with dyslexia and ADHD. Her leadership extends to consulting with schools, parents, and community organizations to design academic programs that increase student achievement and equity in education.

Dr. Fleming holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University, where her groundbreaking research on micro-schooling highlighted the role of personalized learning in improving student outcomes. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary, integrating her expertise in education with her commitment to faith-based care and emotional well-being.

Her leadership experience includes serving on school leadership teams, coordinating student activities, and training educators on best practices for gifted and special education instruction. She has also been recognized for her contributions to education and entrepreneurship, receiving awards such as the Texas Business Hall of Fame Future Texas Business Legend Award and the VELA Education Fund Innovation in Education Grant.

Dr. Fleming is an active member of her community, volunteering with youth programs, mentoring students, and leading faith-based initiatives. She is a sought-after speaker for parent workshops on emotional intelligence, student advocacy, and special education support.

Her mission is to bridge the gap between education, faith, and holistic student development—empowering families and communities through innovative and compassionate educational leadership.
